What Do I Need to Get Started?

Owning your own business... sure, it can be hard work. BUT, it can also be extremely rewarding monetarily and personally.

If you're interested in becoming an independent distributor, there are a few items you'll need to obtain prior to purchasing a territory/territories.

Financing

A 10% minimum down payment* is required, as well as 10% operating capital*. A Flowers related entity can provide financing options (for up to 10 years), or you may elect to seek your own financing.

*Of the purchase price

Incorporation

Set up a corporation (not LLC) and maintain at least 51% ownership of it.

Multi-Ownership

As a business owner, you can own multiple territories to increase income and growth opportunities.

Business Plan

Have a plan to run your business; you are not required to personally operate the distributorship. Many independent distributors hire employees or helpers.
